  • Type of Work: (2010-11) Working with a public relations events management firm to do CSS layout and troubleshooting for multiple web sites created by their event management system.

  • Type of Work: (2010-11) Working with a local design firm on an ASP .NET website redesign for an art museum. I created a preview site from scratch based on their wireframe design and requirements. To meet their requirements, I had to adapt JonDesign's Smoothgallery, manipulating the CSS and Javascript to achieve the desired effect, incorporate Facebook Like and Open Graph, and add Disqus commenting. I also had the opportunity to work on pieces of the website redesign. I worked with the art museum's collections management system (Piction) to design a system to display their art collection pictures on a web page using XSLT and Umbraco CMS macros.

  • Type of Work: (2008-2011) Building software as a service (SaaS) website to automate the diversity business certification process. I worked with a 3-5 man team on software requirements, project planning, design, programming, troubleshooting, and training. I was the lead programmer on the User Interface.

  • Type of Work: (2006-2008) Consulting software engineer at a leading independent pathology lab. Engaged in assignments such as 1) Programming and certifying message routing using the Rhapsody Integration Engine, 2) Design and programming of Windows application and service that looks through designated directories for files past a certain retention date and zips them or deletes them depending on application settings, 3) Programming several ASP .NET intranet sites that generate reports based on table data and user criteria, 4) Design and programming a client tracking system, 5) Writing documentation for their standard programming processes.

  • Type of Work: (1999-2010) Designer and lead programmer for government tax accounting applications for horse tracks. Software design and programming was mostly done from 1999-2000. There was a major update of the software in 2004 to .NET, and yearly maintenance & support has carried on until present.
